PATENT ATTORNEY: 2 – 4 YEARS PQE

Our Electronics, Electrical & Software team are looking for a qualified Patent Attorney. This is a new role that is being introduced to meet the needs of our existing and growing client base. We are recommended as a Top Tier firm in the Legal 500 and have a reputation for high quality, commercial and pragmatic advice. The team has grown significantly over recent years and we have been able to develop some exciting new client relationships.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio encompassing telecommunications, software and electrical subject matter. They will be responsible for the full range of IP activities both nationally and internationally and will be able to develop their career within a friendly and collegiate atmosphere. This is a high profile position within a team undergoing strong growth.

The candidate:

The successful candidates are likely to possess the following:

  • A good honours degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline;
  • Qualification as an EPA and/or CPA;
  • A demonstrably successful career record, in either private practice/law firm or an in-house patent department;
  • Excellent client management/service skills and portfolio management experience are highly desirable.
