IP Asset is an established, successful and fast growing IP practice with a strong track-record of working direct with industry clients.
But it is not just being client-focused that differentiates IP Asset. The Firm takes an innovative approach to the way in which they structure and remunerate team members. This makes IP Asset an interesting and rewarding place to work, and when combined with a choice of working in either Oxford or central London, offers candidates two differing professional bases and lifestyles.
Candidates must either have part or full EPA and/or CPA qualifications. Commercial flair and acumen and a good degree in one of the following disciplines are essential criteria: Mechanical Engineering/Electronics/Physics.
Candidates will work with UK SMEs, many that are spin- outs from Oxford University. Assignments will involve varied direct client contact work with investors in client companies, drafting prospectuses, challenging infringements, undertaking prosecutions, identifying
patent potential, reviewing competitor activity, monitoring, drawing up of licences and general IP advisory work.
Both positions benefit from the Firm’s higher than average support staff per attorney, training and mentoring, plus exciting achievement-based incentive awards packages.
