Alistair Hindle Associates are seeking to recruit a trainee patent attorney with a technical background in electronic or electrical engineering.

The successful candidate will initially assist the directors with a wide range of Patent Attorney work and gradually gain responsibility as their knowledge and experience grows. A high standard of training will be provided, as well as support in preparing for the UK and European qualifying examinations. Training will predominantly be provided in-house, but trainees are encouraged to attend appropriate external courses.

We are looking for reliable and personable candidates with strong analytical and communication skills, the ability to pick up complex technical ideas quickly, and an attention to detail.

On this occasion, we are looking for applicants with a good honours degree in electronic or electrical engineering. A reasonable level of knowledge of computer software would be an advantage.  A post-graduate degree, or industrial experience, is desirable but not essential.

We will consider start dates between immediate and Easter 2018.
