Evidence that was ruled as inadmissible by the judge in court was later released to the media by Samsung’s lead lawyer in their patent trial with Apple.

The lawyer, John Quinn has denied any wrongdoing as he claims the information as previously in the public record. Quinn had hoped to present the evidence in court that showed Samsung has designed the F700 in 2006 before the iPhone was announced.

The judge ruled that these details should not be shown to the jury as they had been presented too late in the legal process.
