Boult Wade Tennant, internationally recognised as a leading UK firm of Chartered and European patent and trade mark attorneys, are expanded further into Europe with the recent opening of a new office in Berlin.
In a move that the firm hope will see their presence in Europe strengthen even further after having opened a Madrid office in 2018, this newly opened, centrally located office is situated on one of Berlin’s most famous avenues and will be headed up by partner Michael C. Maier, a trade mark attorney whose expertise is in developing strategic initiatives to successfully address complex legal issues that impact a business with a focus on intellectual property (trade mark law, design law, copyright, and unfair competition etc.).
Michael has a broad expertise in trade mark litigation, managing worldwide trade mark portfolios and handling prosecution, opposition and cancellation matters, including appeal procedures before the German Patent and Trademark Office and the European Union Intellectual Property Office. He regularly represents German and international clients in legal disputes before German courts as well as the General Court and the Court of Justice of the European Union.
Boult Wade Tennant Managing Partner John Wallace said the firm are “…incredibly excited to announce the opening of the Berlin office and welcoming Michael to the firm.” He went on to add: “The firm is set to welcome good time ahead as we continue to grow and expand into the European market”.
