If you are attracted by the prospect of joining a firm at the forefront of intellectual property law, one of our Open Days for aspiring patent attorneys could give you a real insight as to what the job entails
Open Days are very relaxed and give you the opportunity to meet with a variety of people at different stages of their career journeys.
The programme is designed to give you a better understanding of the daily life of a patent attorney. As well as some formal presentations, it includes interactive workshops giving you the opportunity to get involved with patent drafting and prosecution.
We will finish the day with refreshments and the opportunity to chat with our people about their experiences within the profession so far.
Who should participate?
It’s an exciting process and we frequently discover people that we would love to share the journey with. For this reason, we give priority to Open Day applicants who have completed their studies or are in their final year of undergraduate or post-graduate studies at university.
Participants usually have (or expect to achieve) a minimum of a 2:1 degree, ideally in chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, physics, electronics, engineering or computer science.
How to apply
Applications for the 28th September 2018 Open Day will be considered between July and the 29th August 2018.
