You are a UK and European Patent Attorney (up to 5 years PQE) with an undergraduate qualification in computer science, physics or electrical engineering looking to move to a truly dynamic IP practice group in an international law firm.

The group is one of the most highly regarded IP practices with over 100 IP professionals globally, advising on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious IP.  This firm is highly experienced in managing multi-jurisdictional litigation, strategy and negotiations.

You should possess a strong client focus, so your experience of managing stakeholder expectations will be crucially important for this role.  Technology-wise you’ll be handling a rich diet of prosecution across electronics, software and medical devices clients. Experience of cellular technology and AI work would be a distinct advantage. A strong opposition practice also provides contentious work directly with clients, as well as opportunities to work on litigation and transactional matters.

The firm’s culture is built on work that truly matters, and you’ll work on inspirational and thought-provoking projects, using your influence to create positive impact for clients and society too. Through innovative learning and development opportunities, you will be provided with a platform to excel, enabling you to exceed your career ambitions and do things you never thought were possible.

They are proud of their reputation as an Employer for Working Families and Social Mobility, and actively promote a healthy and flexible hybrid working environments for all.

If you feel you have the requisite skill-set, experience and commercial acumen to really contribute to an award-winning team, then please contact James Dawes for a confidential discussion.
