Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert advice on patentability, patent drafting, and prosecution for clients in the chemistry sector
  • Conducting patent searches and analysing technical and legal issues
  • Managing a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from start-ups to multinational corporations
  • Representing clients in proceedings before the European Patent Office and other relevant authorities
  • Collaborating with other attorneys and technical experts to deliver comprehensive IP solutions

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of post-qualification experience as a Chemistry Patent Attorney
  • A strong background in chemistry, with a degree in chemistry or a related field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and provide high-quality service
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel between offices if necessary
