Our client is looking for a talented Trade Mark Attorney to join their Manchester office. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, providing strategic advice and support on trademark issues. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility with remote work arrangements, with the expectation of being in-office one day a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing trademark portfolios and advising clients on trademark registration, enforcement, and protection strategies.
- Conducting trademark searches and clearance reviews to assess availability and potential conflicts.
- Drafting and filing trademark applications with relevant authorities.
- Handling opposition and cancellation proceedings before trademark offices.
- Providing counsel on trademark infringement matters and enforcement strategies.
- Assisting with trademark licensing and commercialization efforts.
Experience and Qualifications:
- 1-4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) as a Trade Mark Attorney.
- Strong understanding of UK and European trademark laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality work and achieving client satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
