Trade Mark Paralegal – London

I am working with a leading firm that is highly regarded for its expertise in trade mark law. With a strong presence in the industry, the firm advises a diverse client base on UK and EU trade mark matters, offering a collaborative and supportive working environment. Known for its high-quality work and commitment to professional development, the firm provides excellent opportunities for career progression.

The firm is looking to recruit a Trade Mark Paralegal for its London office. This is a full-time, permanent position with a hybrid working model – two days in the office and three days from home. The role involves a combination of administrative and Paralegal duties, so it is essential that candidates are comfortable handling both aspects.

While there is scope to take on more complex Paralegal work over time, the firm is looking for someone who is happy to manage a mix of responsibilities from the outset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling UK and EU trade mark filings and prosecution
  • Assisting with trade mark searches and watching services
  • Preparing and filing official correspondence with the UKIPO and EUIPO
  • Managing trade mark portfolios, deadlines and database administration
  • Supporting attorneys with legal research and case preparation
  • General administrative support, including document management and invoicing

Requirements:

  • Experience in a trade mark paralegal or administrative role within an IP firm or legal environment
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Readiness to take on a mix of administrative and paralegal responsibilities
