Our Netherlands office (now 15 people) is growing and we have a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to join us as a Trainee Patent Attorney in either our Eindhoven or Rotterdam office. Our international Tech team includes over 60 individuals and we advise some very high-profile clients across all fields of technology.
About you
Whether you are a new graduate or are looking for an exciting career change, we are looking for candidates with a solid scientific background, a strong academic record and a graduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, or a closely related discipline. We are recruiting for places on our graduate scheme, where we will support and mentor you in your journey to becoming a fully qualified patent attorney and beyond.
More specifically, we are looking for candidates with the following backgrounds:
Computer Science – ideally with some experience in AI.
Electrical/Electronic Engineering – ideally with some experience of computing/software.
Physics – ideally, you would have some knowledge of computing/software, though this is not essential.
Applicants must have a minimum 2:1 in their degree discipline, although candidates with a postgraduate degree and a 2:2 in their undergraduate degree will also be considered.
Our ideal candidates should also be fluent in English and Dutch.
Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis and the process will include a zoom interview and then attendance at an assessment centre. Those that are successful in their applications will commence their Trainee positions in October 2024.
