Mathys & Squire is a market leading intellectual property (IP) law firm, who for over 100 years has been helping our clients protect, commercialise, and enforce their IP rights.
Our IT & Engineering practice is looking for graduates with strong academics (attained or on course for at least a 2:1 or equivalent) in areas including but not limited to:
- computer science,
- mechanical engineering,
- software/electrical engineering,
- physics, and
- mathematics.
Working as a patent attorney, you will be advising clients from a vast range of technology areas and will be exposed to cutting edge innovation. Our rich and varied client base includes multinationals, SMEs, and startup companies working at the forefront of research and development.
Our graduates should expect to be involved in real work from day one and have access to an enviable training programme, including one to one feedback sessions, more formalised tutorials, and external courses to aid exam preparation. In addition, we have a dedicated team who are there to support your professional development and ensure you have the skills and depth of knowledge to become a successful and respected patent attorney.
