Withers & Rogers are actively seeking a part-qualified or qualified Patent Attorney to join the Advanced Engineering group in our central Sheffield office.

This is a great opportunity to join our Advanced Engineering group at an exciting time of growth for the firm. This is a well-rounded role that will enable you to develop to diverse set of skills required of a successful patent attorney, involving a rewarding blend of:

• mechanical engineering subject matter;
• direct work with domestic and international clients on a diverse range of highly commercial technology;
• European, UK and International prosecution;
• original drafting as well as assisting with search and Freedom to Operate matters.

About you

You will be an experienced and competent Attorney who is eager to make your mark and help shape the future of our firm. You will be at least part qualified or already fully qualified as a UK or European Patent Attorney and you will have a strong academic background in an Engineering discipline.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about cutting-edge engineering and can demonstrate the commercial awareness needed to support and guide our clients in bringing their technology through to market.
