Our Team
2024 marks our 20th Anniversary in practice. During this time, Openshaw & Co. has continued to grow, developing a highly experienced, professional, and conscientious team providing world-class intellectual property services to our clients. Today, we have a team of 29 staff including 10 qualified patent attorneys specialising in patent preparation and prosecution, with a track record of securing valuable patents at the EPO and UKIPO. We also have a part-qualified patent attorney and a trainee attorney within the team, both of whom are being supported towards full qualification.
At Openshaw & Co. we work to understand our clients’ commercial needs and develop tailored IP strategies to help them better protect, manage, and commercialise their IP. The majority of our team focus on working with patents but we have in-house specialists to handle design and trade mark registrations. Our attorneys are supported by a dedicated team of paralegals who are experienced and knowledgeable in IP administration and formalities.
